The pre-school scholarship budget of govt of India is Rs 32.44 crore and for the post-school scholarship, the govt of India has a budget of Rs 387.27 crore. The NTA organization will accept applications for the Yashasvi Scholarship. The govt will give equal chance to state students and union territory students. 

The main aim of the govt of India is to give financial aid to the exemplary students to make them able to pay the fees for the good schools and good colleges. Earlier, the NTA agency used to conduct the entrance test for shortlisting students for the Yashasvi Scholarship. Now, there will be no examination for the Yashasvi Scholarship, the selection list will be prepared from the merit of the 08th and 10th grades.

The list of colleges and schools in which the students are allowed to take admission with the help of the Yashasvi Scholarship will be chosen by the MSJ&E Dept of India.

The objective of the PM Yashasvi Scholarship Yojana

Benefits of Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship

  • The govt of India has a help of amount Rupees 75000 for the class 09/10th students.
  • The help will be Rupees 125000 for the class 11th/12th students under the Yashasvi Scholarship.

Eligibility For Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship

A student should meet the required conditions for the Yashasvi Scholarship if he wants to apply, check below. 

  • The students who are residents of India can apply for the Yashasvi Scholarship.
  • The eligible caste categories for the Yashasvi Scholarship are OBC/NT/EBC/DNT/SNT/SAR.
  • The minimum qualification for the Yashasvi Scholarship is 08th class pass.
  • The students whose parent’s income is less than Rupees 2.5 lac are allowed for the Yashasvi Scholarship.
  • The DOB for the 09th grade will be from 01 April 2007 to 31 March 2011.
  • The DOB for the 09th grade will be from 01 April 2005 to 31 March 2009.

Documents Required for the PM Yashasvi Scholarship

The students should have the following certificates before applying for the Yashasvi Scholarship.

  • In the Yashasvi Scholarship, you have to give the 08th DMC copy or the 10th DMC.
  • The parents should have an income certificate of less than Rupees 2.5 lac.
  • The ID card of the person in which school he is studying.
  • The Yashasvi Scholarship will ask about the email ID and mobile number.
  • The caste category of the students should be eligible for the Yashasvi Scholarship.
