What is an Ayushman Card?
Ayushman Card is also known as Ayushman Golden Card. It is a health card that is given under Ayushman Card Schmee or Prime Minister Jan Aarogya Scheme/PMJAY. The motive of the Ayushman Card is to provide the best quality health treatment facility to the Indian people.
The people who have Ayushman Cards can go to the selected list of hospitals and can avail the benefits of selected diseases. The people who can not afford the costly treatment will be able to go for the treatment. The person can go for the treatment of Rs 5 Lakh under the Ayushman Card. And they do not have to give money for the treatment, all the expenses up to Rs 5 Lakh will be bear by the govt of India.
The people have to fulfill some conditions called eligibility for the Ayushman Card like their family income to become eligible for the Ayushman Card. The Central govt launched the PMJAY scheme for the poor section of the society those who can afford good treatment.
How to Add New Member To Ayushman Card?
If your family has an Ayushman Card and one of the family members has not been included in the Ayushman Card. The govt of India has come up with a solution to this problem. A new option is given on the portal of Ayushman Card. The name of the new member can be easily added to the old Ayushman Card by using the new option. Follow the steps below to add the name of a new member to the old Ayushman Card.
- Go to the main portal of the Ayushman Card here: https://beneficiary.nha.gov.in/.
- Add your phone number at the given place.
- Use the OTP to verify the phone number and complete the login process for the Ayushman Card.
- Choose the state name, district name, and block name.
- Now search the list of Ayushman cards with the help of family ID/Name/Aadhar Card number.
- When you find your name in the Ayushman Card list, click on that, and it will show all the details related to your family for the Ayushman Card.
- There, you will get the option to Add a Family Member. Tap on this option and provide the details of a new family member.
- Now, save the updated Ayushman Card and take a print of it.
