The Haryana Government has launched the Haryana Matri Shakti Udyamita Yojana to make women economically empowered and self-reliant. Through this scheme, the state government will provide a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh at a low interest rate to eligible women of the state to establish self-employment. With this, women will be able to start their own employment without any financial constraints. Women will have to pay only 7% interest rate under this scheme. On the occasion of Women’s Day, the Haryana government has made a provision of Rs. 1.70 lakh crore for the welfare of women.
