SANRAL High School Scholarship Programme
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is dedicated to using its educational investments to further the growth of South Africa’s young. The first step in SANRAL’s investment strategy for skills is assistance and development provided via our scholarship program.
This year, students in grades 8 through 12 are eligible for SANRAL scholarships regardless of their topic preference. Students who strive for general academic success and have a cumulative GPA of 60% will be given these awards. Financial need and intellectual merit are the two criteria used to award the scholarships.
SANRAL Scholarship also offers:
- Learner assistance program designed to assist students in getting ready for rigorous coursework and achievement in school.

- exam preparation based on a learner needs assessment, career guidance, psychotherapy, and additional classes.
Students who do exceptionally well academically are eligible for the SANRAL scholarship. Interested students do not need to have a certain career route in mind. The award includes
- Upon the submission of school fee statements, tuition will be paid directly to the school.
- Parents will receive their money back for books, stationery, school and sports clothes, and original proof of payment as long as they submit a claim form along with it.
- Recipients of full scholarships are prohibited from receiving any additional assistance for their educational expenses.
SANRAL Scholarship Requirements and Eligibility
Candidates for the award are chosen based on their academic standing and financial circumstances. SANRAL gives students attending rural schools greater weight. In addition, prospective candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- The student needs to be enrolled in an approved South African school and be a citizen of South Africa.
- The student must be enrolled in high school, any course chosen, and in grades 8 through 12.
- The student needs to achieve at least a 60% cumulative average.
- The entire scholarship application needs to be submitted. Enclosed must be all supporting documentation.
